Bike trip – July 19-20 – Krasnoyarsk

We have heard a lot about blessed ministry of Krasnoyarsk churches and heard about Siberian strong health. We never doubted Siberian hospitality. A day of rest was planned for us in Krasnoyarsk. It meant that Krasnoyarsk Christians prepared something special for the Expedition. Bikers were very tired. They needed rest, real rest. To be frank every one of us was tired.

Every day including holidays and days off we went to sleep at midnight and got up at 4:40 a.m. We had breakfasts at 5:00 a.m. and at 6:00 sharp began our trips. Starting from Tiumen town we did not have any real rest. According to our imagination real rest means – soft bed and many hours of sleep. We also planned to visit the Youth Festival and take part in it.

Our participation in the Festival encouraged us. People were happy to meet us. We sang and spoke about the importance of missionary ministry. Then we had a great lunch and hosts promised to prepare tents for us. All excitements were in the past. But…

Heavy shower and thunderstorm changed all plans of the organizers. Wet and dirty land prevented members of the Expedition to find shelter in the tents. After dinner local Christian men offered us to go to Divnogorsk town and stay there overnight in the church. We arrived there at 02:30 in the morning completely exhausted.
