Seminars, which sought to answer life and ministry’s most pressing issues, gave vision, encouraged and inspired everyone to serve the Lord. For many attenders who hadn’t been baptized, this was especially inspiring to live for Christ and in Christ. Seminar topics included:
Some of the wiser and older men were able to share their experiences with the young people. Especially inspiring was to hear from the UECB President, Peter V. Mitskevich.
Worship teams from different cities (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bryansk, Novosibirsk, etc.) helped lead praises to the Lord. A special guest, Andrey Zhilikhovsky, Bolshoi Theater soloist, blessed us along with a composter, musician, author and performer, pastor Vladimir Tomashov.
Also inspiring was a time of worship through the Lord’s Supper, led by vice president of the UECB, Victor V. Ignatenkov. In his message, most poignant were the words, “God wishes to meet with you so that you will receive a gift – forgiveness through the atoning sacrifice of Christ!”
Overall, the conference was a special time for each participant, as God did a transforming work in every heart, sending young laborers to His harvest in their cities and local churches.
