Mitskevich Travels to Surgut - 30th Anniversary of UECB Church and Youth Conference
From September 11-13, 2020, the Russian UECB President, Peter Mitskevich visited the city and church of Surgut.
During his visit, Mitskevich together with UECB Regional Pastor Kubat of the Khanty-Mansiysk Region, and overseer of Christ the Savior Church in Surgut, visited the Surgut city administration, where they met with the city leadership to improve government/church relation. Then on September 12, Mitskevich took part in a regional youth conference.
The culminating event of the trip was participation in a special celebration service dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Church of Christ the Savior, which took place on September 13th.
Mitskevich also got in touch with the local ministers of the Khanty-Mansi region, spoke about the ministry of the Russian UECB and hosted a Q&A session for all those who attended the service.
