New Ministers Ordained at “Source of Life” Church in Tambov

The church prepared very responsibly for this day. Community members prayed for future ministers and supported them throughout the entire period of preparation. Pastors and deacons were ordained by Senior Pastor Alipichev from the Tambov Region, Pastor  Anatoly Yarmolyuk, from “Source of Life” Church, and Pastor Bakhmutsky, from Russian Bible Church (Moscow).

So on Sunday, brothers Andrey Solomnikov and Andrey Zhigunov were ordained to the pastoral ministry in the Tambov community. And for the service of deacons - Yuri Malyutin and Alexei Grishin. The event was very touching when Anatoly Yarmolyuk, who devoted most of his life to serving as a pastor, spoke some words of instruction, as these ordained men grew up under Pastor Anatoly’s ministry. Perhaps that is why his eyes were gleaming with tears. He observed God's work with these men’s hearts, saw the trials that they went through. Such a testimony of the love and bond of Christ did not leave anyone indifferent in the church.

Regional Pastor Alipichev also gave words of instruction to the deacons and pastors. He urged them first to grow in wisdom, because the deacon's ministry is not just completing tasks. In Acts, it is written that the brothers chosen for this ministry had to be God's people, having the wisdom and fear of the Lord, so that in the church they could resolve conflicts out of love. So Anatoly called the pastors to take care of the church, in which the Lord placed them to serve.

Yevgeny Bakhmutsky, in his sermon on the church, noted that just as the husband sets the atmosphere in the house, so the pastors in the church lead and direct the church, take care of it. The church is a family. And every believer should love the place where God has placed him. And this instruction sounded to every Christian.
