100th anniversary of Kolomna UECB Church

On November 20, 2022, a celebration service was held to recognize the 100th anniversary of UECB church in Kolomna, Russia.

"Aven Yezer! The Lord has helped us so far!”

The UECB Kolomna Church recalled the history of the formation and formation of the community. Men came to visit for this Jubilee from Vladimir, Ryazan, Voskresensk, Ramenskoye, Noginsk, delivered welcoming and congratulatory speeches. Alexei Pichugin, Regional leader of Moscow region, conveyed heartfelt greetings and congratulations on the centennial on behalf of the UECB President and VP, Mitskevich and Ignatenkov, as well as the UECB Central Regional Russian leader, Nikolai Maslyakov. Honored guests added to the joyous cause becoming witnesses and participants of the festivities. They also shared words of support, encouragement and guidance for the future.

The celebration was held in a loving atmosphere with one another, and joy as all realized that the involvement of a small local community in a huge universal Church, the gates of hell will never overcome. Each hymn, poem, and testimonial was in tune with the theme of the meeting and testified to the strength and unity of the Lord’s church. Everything that happened during the meeting pointed to the power and greatness of God, who created the church in Kolomna, preserved and multiplied it in an incredible way.

During the meeting, deacon Mikhail Kuzmin shared historical background and a vivid presentation on the historical events in the development of this church from 1922 to 2022.

At the end, everyone present gathered for a commemorative photograph, exchanging congratulations and words of encouragement and instruction. The brothers and sisters commended each other to work diligently and sacrificially for the Lord, so that one day they too would become part of the good history of the church.

Of course, honoring such traditions, celebrating the birthday of the church, everyone shared a festive dinner with great joy, singing with all their hearts to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today, after a time of prosperity, difficult times are again coming. But the Church of God is awake, alive and praying, continuing her ministry, and waiting for the return of Jesus!

- "Behold, I'm coming soon!" says the Lord.

- “Yes come Lord Jesus!” - we answer together with the whole Church.
