Moscow Biblical Seminary "Introduction to Pastoral Theology" Program

This program is aimed at reviewing the main factors in the practical ministry of pastors, while relying on the experience of predecessors in the historical aspect of the life of the Russian UECB churches. All the while acknowledging the dependence of success in the ministry, on the personal spiritual condition of the pastor and his dependence on God.

The program consists of 8 subjects that qualify for three sections: the Historical Heritage of the Russian UECB, the Spiritual Formation of the pastor, and the Practice of Ministry.

As a result of the program, the student should acquire a common vision of a fruitful pastoral ministry in his church, with these things in mind:

1. Understanding the pastoral calling and its corresponding responsibilities

2. Involvement in the work of cultivating new ministers/leaders in the church

3. A clear picture of the spiritual and historical heritage of the brotherhood in Russia

4. A clear presentation and vision of the mission in the life of the church

5. The skill of systematically preparing and communicating the Word of God in preaching

6. Practical aspects in the field of counseling a wide range of people

7. Understanding the role and influence of sacred music in the ministry of the church

8. Planning and working in a team of ministers

 Graduates receive a certificate of advanced training "INTRODUCTION TO PASTORAL THEOLOGY", 144 hour.

Training takes place remotely through the ZOOM platform.
