From January 26 to 29, 2023, the main youth conference of the Russian UECB was held in Moscow, which brought together about 1500 participants from all over Russia from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad, and from other countries.

The theme of the conference was the words from the last chapter of the book of Revelation: "Come, Lord Jesus!", and the key verse - "People who honor their God will be strong and will act." (Dan. 11:32)

The main goal of the conference was to make it clear, through the preaching of God's Word, how they can wait and approach the Kingdom of Christ in these last days! The topics of the conference sermons were created from Matt.24:9-14:

  • Get ready to suffer for Christ! - Vladislav Treskin, Moscow
  • Stay in the faith! - Vitaly Bak, Novosibirsk
  • Don't let yourself hate, but keep on loving! - Timur Rasulov, Samara
  • Remain in the Truth! - Sergey Drozd, Minsk
  • Resist evil! - Maxim Chepel, Vladivostok
  • Be persistent! - Pavel Kazakov, Samara
  • Uncompromising Witnesses - Evgeny Bakhmutsky, Moscow
  • "People who honor their God will become stronger and will act" - Anton Tretiak, St. Petersburg
  • Let your kingdom come! - Vitaly Zanin, Moscow
  • Behold the glory of Christ! - Ilya Lyamshin, Orenburg

The conference was held in three locations: the first two days were held in a large conference hall in the Riviera shopping center, the third day - in the Moscow Central Church, and the closing ceremony and the Evening of Praise - in the very center of Moscow on New Arbat Street in the ARBAT HALL.

Special guests of the conference included youth ministry’s from Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. They spoke about their ministry and God's working in their context and invited the Russian youth to come and join them in their work.

In addition to the general sessions, the conference participants could attend many different practical seminars, as well as take part in group excursion times, created opportunities for young people to get to know one another: excursions and walks in the center of Moscow, ice skating, quest around the city, evangelism to Muscovites and guests of the capital and more!

Prayer gathering times were offered at the conference for revival among the youth in Russia, as well as for the urgent need for peace between Russia and Ukraine.

The organizers of the conference received a huge amount of feedback from the participants with gratitude for the conference and with testimonies of how God was working and transforming their hearts and minds during these days! We thank God for more than 20 young hearts who repented, confessing their sins one evening during the conference.

It is also worth noting that two days before the conference, over 50 key youth ministry leaders from all over the country gathered in Moscow for the Building Bible Youth Ministry Leadership Summit. And immediately after the conference, 24 students of the Youth Ministers Training Program continued their training to be effective in ministering to the new generation in their churches and cities. This was a lot of work, but planned effectively to get the most out of one trip.

God richly blessed all of us through this. His work was visible in literally everything! I would especially like to thank the team of more than 100 selfess volunteers who worked so hard to help the participants experience joy in God! We are already preparing and waiting for the next GFC 2024 conference! In the meantime, together we continue to build a generation for Christ in our churches and cities!
