At the beginning of the last century, Ivan Davidyuk organized the fraternity of Slavic Immigrants. Since 1919, annual conferences of Slavic churches were held. Over the course of a century, six waves of emigration helped to refresh this evangelical fraternity in the United States. The celebration was held in a beautiful place - a camp in Ashford, North Carolina, which is a destination hotspot for young people and families to travel. Among those in attendance was UECB President Peter Mitskevich.
The main task for the Christian community was and remains the preaching of the Good News. To hear and receive the gospel, you need to go to church. To grow and be useful for God you need to serve the Lord and invest in others to know and grow in Him.
“Seek the Lord, as He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.” Isaiah 55: 6
