Children’s Festival in Novocherkassk (Rostov Oblast)
For the ninth consecutive year, from August 11 to August 14, the UECB church in Novocherkassk hosted a children’s festival, with everything you could imagine to excite children to attend.
Including police, traffic officers, firefighters and ambulance personnel garnered city support and a large favorable local TV news report. Also, together with local deputies and the Office of Physical Culture and Sports of the City Administration, a championship on soccer tournament was held among the youth, in which more than 140 children and adolescents participated. Pastor Romanenko, who (who was a guest speaker at the Mass Media conference in Moscow in May), is very proactive about getting positive publicity through many avenues of media, which certainly has worked to produce a warm community relationship, drawing many to attend services and hear the gospel.
