Moscow Bible Seminary Graduation and Photo Report

First, the President of MBS and UECB President Peter Mitskevich greeted everyone with a welcome speech, and congratulated the graduates and wished them God's blessing in their ministry.

The UECB Vice President Viktor Ignatenkov, also congratulated the graduates and reminded them that they were called by the Lord himself to work in His Church, and that they would have to share with Him His hardships, difficulties, joys, blessings and His crown of victory and glory. 

During the official part of the ceremony, certificates and diplomas were awarded:

- certificates of additional education for a specialist in rehabilitation work in the social sphere.

- Diplomas with bachelor's and master's degrees in biblical studies, pastoral ministry and Christian education

Further, with the congratulations from the Board of Trustees, the Moscow regional senior pastor, Alexei Pichugin spoke. He quoted the words of the Apostle Peter: "Everyone serve with the gift that you have received." Alexey urged the graduates to be good stewards of the gifts and abilities that the Lord has blessed them with, and he also stressed that the main quality of a minister must be love, just like Jesus.

Marina Ananka-Ganina and Gennady Sergienko spoke on behalf of the teaching staff.

Marina in her speech, quoted a prominent Christian figure V.F. Martsinkovsky: “The philosophy of youth is the philosophy of the movement of creativity. Not the contemplation of the world, but the impact on the world. The task of man is faith, through which the power of God appears. You must overcome, and you will overcome, because the Savior overcame - this is the gospel of Christ. "

Gennady Andreevich, addressing the graduates, called for work in God's field: “Work, work, work! You have received knowledge in order to work! And it is impossible to work without love for sinful people. Let us remember that knowledge can be arrogant. Let's do our best to love. Onward and forward! Amen!".

There were also words of gratitude from the alumni. While studying at the Moscow Theological Seminary, they learned to work through difficulties, trusting in the Lord, disciplining themselves, doing their homework, and learned the value of time and friends.

Graduates thanked the administration and teachers of the seminary for the impeccable organization of training, for their care, support and useful knowledge that opened up new horizons of service. Further, each graduate voiced the topic of his thesis.

At the end of the solemn ceremony, a prayer of blessing was performed over the graduates. At the end of the official part, photographing took place and everyone visited together informally.
