"The Word and Music" - pastoral and musical conference in Bryansk

"The Lord is my strength and my song" (Is. 12:2).

The purpose of this conference will be to help in organizing the church’s music minist, understand the pastor’s role in the music ministry formation and church musical culture, develop evangelistic emphasis through music, and establish children’s rold and involvement in the music ministry.

Among the preachers, speakers and co-speakers will be Peter Mitskevich, P. Kravchuk, M. Lipsky, I. Romanenko, K. Goncharenko, T. Goncharenko, S. Naboychenko, V. Zanin, S. Malov, P. Lunichkin, V. Levashov, A. Russu, I. Papkov, and V. Ignatenkov

The following topics will be discussed:

• theology and practice of the UECB’s musical ministry,
• worship - its essence and form,
• common singing and liturgy,
• educating children through music and developing their faith,
• music styles,
• the nature of her spirituality,
• the influence of music on the formation of personality,
• evangelism in and through music,
• other themes are possible.

In addition to reports, it is planned to hold two round table open discussions, during which other issues related to the practice of music ministry can be addressed.

Pastors, deacons, music directors, brothers and sisters from other ministries, as well as anyone who is interested in this topic are invited to the conference. Young people are especially invited.

The conference opens on Thursday June 16 at 6pm, before which all participants will be invited to dinner at 5pm, and after there will be homestays with the believers of the Bryansk churches.

June 17th -  9:00am to 7pm

June 18th - 9:00am to 1pm (lunch at 13:00). Dismissal/conclusion will be after lunch.

Registration fee 1500 rubles. You can pay upon arrival.
