UECB VP Ignatenkov’s Trip to Vladimir/Ivanovo

From May 27- 28, 2023, the Vice President of the Russian UECB, Viktor Ignatenkov was in the Vladimir and Ivanovo regions, invited by Regional Pastor, Stanislav Petrash.

On May 27, a pastor’s conference spiritually edified the men of the UECB ministers in Vladimir and Ivanovo regions, in which the Vice President took an active part. During the meeting, issues related to the ministry of the church in the context of the present time were considered. Issues of church life and responsibilities for various ministries were touched upon. They talked about how to make the church grow and be able to influence society, as well as how to achieve success in evangelism and how to properly organize the practical life of the church.

The topic of the conference aroused great interest among those present, everyone could ask a question, see new opportunities for solving important problems, and get inspiration for more active and fruitful work. Many brothers continued personal communication with Ignatenkov after the end of the conference.

In the evening traveling from Vladimir to Ivanovo, Ignatenkov and Petrash stopped at the city of Shuya, where a UECB church is located, and Stanislav Evgenievich the pastor, who moved there from Rovno in 2001. He showed them the house of prayer, where repair and construction work is being done, making the building look more elegant. This was founded in 2002, and gathers about 50 people.

On Sunday, May 28, Viktor took part in the service of the church "Resurrection" in Ivanovo, located at the address: Moskovskaya St. 18. (There are two ECB churches in Ivanovo)

The service was held under the guidance of the deacon of the church, Alexander Alexandrov. Viktor preached a sermon to all those present. Afterwards, members of the church met with him to discuss issues of interest and hear information about the life of the Russian UECB.

In the afternoon, Viktor met with the youth of two Ivanovo churches, with more than 20 people and took place in the house of Maxim and Vasilisa Karatun. There was a joyful atmosphere with spiritual edification and delicious food. In a conversation with young Christians, Viktor supported their desire to meet more often and take an active part in serving God. The meeting ended with a prayer, where everyone took part.
