Mitskevich Travels to Altai
From October 23 - 30, 2023, the UECB President, Peter Mitskevich was invited to the Altai Region by Andrei Proshelykin to visit Altai churches, ministers and missionaries.
During the visit, meetings were held in churches in different cities of the region, which included fellowship, ministry meeting, study of God's word and to praying over the region. In particular, Peter visited Biysk, where Ivan Prokhanov (Russian Baptist hero) founded the "City of Slonets", Rubtsovsk, Barnaul, Gorno-Altaisk - Peter traveled more than a thousand kilometers.
On October 28 and 29, two events took place that brought together all the ministers of the Altai Territory and the Altai Republic. On Saturday, October 28, a large meeting was held in the central UECB church of Barnaul with songs, evangelism, testimonies, and reports on God’s work there. On Sunday, October 29, the UECB Church in the village of Yuzhny, Barnaul, celebrated its 30th anniversary. More than 400 people gathered to celebrate and glorify God together.
