House of the Gospel’s First Service in 94 Years After Being Confiscated

In order for the participants of the service to get in without a problem, a passage through the rubble and junk had to be cleared...

The service was led by Regional Pastor Igor Kuznetsov of the UECB churches of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. The service was attended by presbyters of the churches of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, the men who are directly involved with the House of the Gospel, as well as relatives of those ministers who lived and worked here in the 1920’s, when the House of the Gospel was the epicenter of the Northern UECB Conference. Communion took place during the service.

The last time service was held at the House of the Gospel was in February 1930 -  94 years ago.
