Teen Conference: Live Today

The conference program included all the main aspects of the development and formation of a teenager as a Christian. The children socialized, interacting with each other in different environments, communicating with mentors, developing conflict resolution skills, negotiate with others and help those who need it. Spiritually and intellectually, students grew at church services, morning prayer, evening discussions and in communication with mentors. They showed their creative potential in master classes, in media, in creative teamwork. A healthy spirit in the body was maintained through exercise, big games, relay races and tournaments outside in the fresh air.

Each of the above-mentioned areas was permeated with a common concept, which included the cultivation of five essential qualities that every Christian should possess: scholarship, sincerity, self-denial, friendliness and fearlessness. All activities were organized within the framework of these concepts. 30 teams of 11-12 teenagers and their mentors were respectively distributed among five main groups and squads within the groups.

We managed to show by the example of the heroes of the Bible that only in God can we be fearless, wise, sacrificial, sincere and friendly. The speakers and the conference team encouraged the teenagers to have a personal relationship with God, showing the difference between "seeming" and "being" a Christian in each quality studied, "being" and not "seeming" truly fearless, friendly, sacrificial, sincere and wise is possible only if you have God's Love in your heart, expressed in personal good relationship with Jesus.

We are glad that this platform gave teenagers the opportunity to reveal their talents and creative potential, as well as to meet and unite the young generation of true Christians from different cities of our country.

A special blessing and value for us was the opportunity for kids from the annexed post-war territories to participate in the conference thanks to regional sponsorship, the help of entrepreneurs and many caring Christians near and abroad. 

The most important thing that happened at this conference was the repentance and renewal of many young hearts who accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

The Gospel, changing a person’s life before your eyes, is the best reward and motivation for the entire team of ministers, who have been sacrificially preparing for this event for more than six months, dozens of sleepless nights, many trips, phone calls, personal meetings, sacrifices of finances, time, strength, plans and even time/relationship with their families, and all this for the sake of the Gospel reaching the heart of a generation that is no longer the future, but the actual present of the Church of Jesus Christ!

I would like to express special gratitude to the senior pastor of the Krasnodar region, Dmitry Kadatsky, and the regional youth pastor, Vitaly Tulyakov, who made a significant contribution to this difficult ministry, supported, blessed and accompanied us.

We also express our gratitude to all the sponsors of the conference, to everyone who was fasting and carried everyone’s prayers to the Lord in their arms.

We are in prayer for all the direct participants of the team of ministers of the teenage movement "Live Today", your precious labor is not in vain before God, you are heroes of the Faith! May the Almighty Father reward you for your dedication in many ways and in many ways! 

We believe that this is not the last event that God has prepared in our country for the young generation of Christians. May God renew the strength of all those who carefully serve others with the Gospel. It is necessary for everyone regardless of age, social status, the family in which they were born, absolutely everyone needs Jesus.

We call upon experienced pastors to invest good values, their time, financial and spiritual resources in the younger generation, to believe in them and to be a good example of dedication to God's work! Investment in the younger generation of Christians is an investment in the expansion of His kingdom in our region, in our country and throughout the world!

Young generation of Christians, do not be afraid to be and be called children of God! Be a powerful Gospel voice of your generation. Do not be afraid to be the solution to the simple and complex problems of those around you, and together we will see the hand of God in action!
