The New Leadership of the UECB Women’s Ministry Department

Back in November 24-25, 2023, at the All-Russian Conference in Moscow, the Leadership of the Baptist Union (UECB) approved new Women's Department Leadership under the direction of Anastasia Bak. This was the first fruits of that decision.

Then in March 2024, a meeting was held with the Union leadership and with Vera Izotova, who had long been the Leadership head for Russia. At this meeting, many issues related to women’s ministry in Russia were discussed, after which the new leadership began active work.

During the period from March to August 2024, the sisters of the Women's Department created two telegram channels for those responsible for women's ministry in Russia and for all other sisters of our large country. In these channels, the sisters share various information, instructions, needs and resources on women's ministry.

Here is a link to the general Telegram channel https://t.me/vsk_ehb . We will be glad if you join us. There you can learn more about the ladies of the Women's Department.

In addition, the sisters of the department held several conferences in different cities of Russia, namely: Ufa, St. Petersburg, Smolensk, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Moscow, Orel, Barnaul, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, and Bryansk.

A Prayer Leaflet for the All-Russian Day of Prayer of Sisters was developed and sent out to the regions. Many regions held prayer conferences, and in some places prayer meetings of sisters took place.

Preparations are in full swing for the All-Russian Nursing Conference, which will be held on November 22-23, 2024, in the Moscow region. Registration for this event will open soon, which will also be announced on our Telegram channel.

In order to reach the largest number of ladies, there is a desire to hold similar conferences on a wider scale also in the other regions. For this, it is necessary to form committees (teams) in the regions to prepare such conferences. Please pray that, if the Lord wills, this desire will come to pass. We will also be grateful for your prayers and finances in support of women's ministry in Russia. Voluntary donations can be sent to the account of the Russian Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptists with the note "For women's ministry".

God bless you all! May His love and mercy be with all His saints!

With respect and prayer,

The women's department of the Russian UECB
