UECB Leadership Department Head Meeting

Opening the meeting, President Peter Mitskevich, emphasized the importance of fruitful and coordinated service of all departments and directions of the union.

In the first part of the meeting, the Voronezh regional pastor, Alexander Russu, held a "Foresight session" regarding the “Baptist Brotherhood in the context of a changing world." An analysis of the current state of the brotherhood was conducted and strategic directions for its development in the coming years were determined.

The second part of the meeting was devoted to the exchange of information about the work of the union departments, as well as identifying points of contact and opportunities for effective cooperation between different areas of ministry.

This part of the meeting was led by VP Viktor Ignatenkov, who introduced the representatives of the departments and spoke about the annual conferences that each department holds:

• Women's Ministry Department,

• Department of Children and Youth Ministry,

• Youth department,

• Pastoral Department,

• Media Department,

• Music department.

Viktor especially emphasized that the goal of each department of the Russian Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptists is to benefit the churches that are in our care.

Next, representatives of each department presented reports on their service in 2024 and talked about plans for 2025. Particular attention was paid to the joint work of departments and areas of the union.

The meeting was useful and productive.
