A total of 795 children participated, of whom 52% came from non-church families. Most of the children were of school age, from 6 to 17 years old, though in some areas, older youth aged 18–19 also took part. They were drawn to the organized recreational activities and eagerly joined the programs.
The camps were of different types: some were stationary, held at established campgrounds, while others were traditional yurt camps, reflecting the unique aspects of Mongolian daily life and adapted for engaging children in their cultural context. The Krasnoyarsk team had been praying for the city of Bayan-Ölgii for 10 years. It is the only city in Mongolia where the majority of the population are ethnic Kazakhs. This year, for the second time, a Christian family camp was held there, welcoming single mothers with many children. They were able to enjoy quality time and organized activities with their children while also receiving biblical teaching on parenting and fellowship with Christians. This kind of camp format is new and very relevant in the social context of this city.
The youth missionary movement expresses heartfelt gratitude to the local Baptist churches (UECB) from the Krasnoyarsk region for their support in these summer outreach projects—through prayer and financial giving.
Together, we are stronger!
