Words from the President - September 2025

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks” (John 4:23).

I was recently impacted by a worship conference that refreshed my soul and caused great reflection upon things that I knew, but saw afresh. It was a pleasant surprise to my heart. The driving focus was on the worship that happens outside of the church. If you are a saint, you will not just sit in church. You will not only pray, but you will act. You will show your love by your real testimony of service to others

“The Church that Glorifies God” conference held at Moscow’s Golgotha church, featured pastor speakers like Franz Tissen (ex-president of Kazakhstan Baptist Union, Leonid Mikhovich (President of Belarus Baptist Union) to name a couple. The teaching and practical application was second to none - what an encouragement!

There were many examples of this in practical terms. We were given many things to ponder: how to help the homeless, those affected by war, poverty, broken homes. It was a time of reflection and renewal. Many repented and in earnestness, asked the Lord to use their lives to the fullest extent for His kingdom.

Other conferences were a great blessing this summer to thousands. In Bryansk for example, amidst great concerns of safety and drone attacks, which were many in the area, everyone at the yearly congress held in the Yolechka camp, were sovereignly protected. Over 4000 people were blessed by this event, encouraged in their faith to persevere.

Please continue to pray for the instruction and teaching of baptist believers and those invited to faith in Christ by our people. God is working mightily and His will be done.
