All-Russian Children & Youth Ministry Conference

What a blessed time! Attended by 425 people from 40 regions of Russia, as well as the Republic of Belarus, the conference boasted 47 seminars and 10 roundtable discussions, featuring 32 speakers. During breaks, participants were able to familiarize themselves with materials from Christian stores and various missions serving children and teenagers, and, of course, connect and share experiences with one another.

A wonderful, friendly, and creative atmosphere encouraged beginning teachers and those with experience working with children to find answers to many questions and new inspiration for ministry. Six to seven workshops were held concurrently every hour, allowing everyone to choose many topics which were relevant to them.

1. Praise God for giving me the opportunity to attend this conference! A huge thank you to everyone: the organizers, speakers, sponsors, the band, and the puppet theater participants (they are true professionals, everything they do is meaningful; it's a powerful tool for evangelizing children and adults, and gives us something to think about). I thank everyone who donated books and brochures with useful information. Thank you for the friendly fellowship, the inspirational singing, sermons, and prayers, for the coffee breaks, the delicious food in the cafeteria, and for the smooth organization of everything. I was able to reunite with old friends and to meet new ones. A big thank you to all the participants for the fellowship and the healthy, family-like atmosphere!

3. Yesterday I returned from an incredible conference, "Serving God, Serving Children." And I'm still very impressed! If you're involved in anything related to serving children or teenagers, this is one of those places you'll want to return to again and again. You know, there are events that leave you feeling tired, while others recharge you with energy, inspiration, and new ideas. This is definitely the latter!

Why it was so great:

A powerful networking space. Hundreds of ministers from all over Russia—Sunday school teachers, youth leaders, coordinators. So many sincere and passionate hearts in one place! Sharing experiences, resources, and, most importantly, support and prayer for one another. I met people who are ALREADY doing what I dream of. It's incredible.

Focus on practice. I especially appreciate that they don't just talk theory here, but share real, practical tools for Sunday schools and children's clubs. Something that can be put into practice tomorrow. I took some important resources and tools for myself.

A spirit of unity and service. The conference motto from the Epistle to the Romans— "Be not slothful in zeal; be fervent in spirit; serve the Lord" —was felt in every conversation, at every seminar.
