On October 24-26, 2019, the conference “The Church Affecting Society” was held in St. Petersburg, Russia. Many speakers, messages and Q&A sessions were given to stress the reality that the church has a role and voice to influence the world around us for good, and how to do it well. This is the report of the culmination day, Oct. 26, 2019.
On October 6, 2019, a worship service dedicated to consecrating this magnificent church included the blessing of UECB Vice President, Victor Ignatenkov, Krasoyarsk Regional Pastor Ivan Bulychev, Khakassia Regional Pastor Sergey Stalmakov, former Siberian regional head, Henry Adolfovich, as well as many supportive folks from neighboring churches.
On September 29, 2019, in the UECB Golgotha church, a free concert was held in order to bless the community and attract them to hear the truth of Christ.
UECB Vice President, Victor Ignatenko traveled to Yakutsk September 28-29, 2019 to meet with regional Far East Pastor, Victor Zaitsev, local church leaders and U.S. pastor, Eric Mock. The local pastors reported the state of affairs in the churches of the republic.
